Resident Notes

Resident notes can be entered in Residex detailing a wide variety of information:

  • Resident health concerns
  • Caregiver/Provider shift reports
  • Behavioral notes
  • Status changes
  • Care Conference summaries

Residex: Referrals

ResiDex Referrals are documents that can easily be created and sent with a resident to a scheduled appointment or emergency room visit. The Clinic Referral report can contain critical information such as:

  • Diagnoses
  • Current Medications
  • Allergies
  • Pertinent details regarding the appointment

If the campus configuration option: Create appointment reminder when referral is saved is set to "Yes" you will be prompted to add an appointment reminder service when the referral is saved.

Notifications

The ResiDex notifications tool is helpful because it will automatically provide reminders and alerts to users upon login. Each user can specify which notifications they want to have displayed and the "number of days out" to display.

If the campus configuration option: Enable Referral Appointments is set to "Yes" you can add additional details and create/track upcoming appointments while creating a referral.

Staff Bulletin

Residex's Staff Bulletin feature allows users to enter a concise message (140 characters) containing need-to-know information for a particular resident and have that appear as a banner when in the resident's electronic record.  

Suggested uses might include:

  • NPO (nothing by mouth) status of a resident prior to labs or tests
  • Remind of specimen collection needs
  • Notice of resident birthdays, anniversaries, etc...
  • Other needs identified by you or your staff

First, turn the configuration on by going to the Setup tab, select "Campus" on the left and "Campus Configurations" on the right.  Select your campus from the drop down menu and search for "bulletin".  Set the option "Show Bulletins to Staff" to "yes".

 

Bulletins will be displayed in RTasks on the Resident Profile and on any service for the resident.
