Providers

When entering services you will need a list of providers to select from in order to assign the service.  You can look at providers in several ways.  If you have more than one staff/provider working during a certain shift you could create individually named providers.  You may choose to name your providers:

  • Day Aide 1
  • Day Aide 2
  • Evening Aide 1
  • Evening Aide 2

You may choose to name your providers on more of a shift view and have multiple staff work off the same assignment sheet (The "combined approach")

  • Day Aides
  • Evening Aides

There are benefits to each approach.  If your staff are accustomed to communicating between each other to share responsibilities you may want to use the "combined approach".  If you are already giving specific tasks to each provider, the first approach is more similar to what they have been using.

Edit Services: Mass Move

Users may need to reschedule, reassign, or discontinue multiple services for a resident (for instance, due to a resident move).  Our "Mass Move" tool will allow you to do so easily and efficiently!

Instead of editing services individually, Mass Move will allow you to quickly select a group of services to assign/reassign to a different time, different provider,  OR to discontinue multiple services.

Edit a Service

As resident needs change, so must the services provided change.  Staff need to easily update services and yet keep a history of the services that were previously scheduled. Examples of service updates include:

  • One service being replaced with a different service
  • A service placed on hold (temporarily discontinuing a service)
  • A service frequency changing
  • A service time is changing
  • A service Provider changing

The nurse can easily alter a client's service details whenever they need to to be edited or updated. The following method will keep a client's service history complete, clear, accurate and up-to-date. It will also save time during data entry.

Discontinue a Service

If you need to discontinue a service from a resident's Service Plan, you can quickly make the change in ResiDex!

Goal - Service Detail Tracking

Goal tracking allows users to document specific details about progress toward goals. When goal tracking is set up for any given service, staff will be able to document up to three questions-- for example, the number of prompts by staff, the level of performance, and/or if the goal was met. To turn on goal tracking, a user must have Role 18 - Global Service List.
