Printing From the Reports Tab

The Reports Tab is the area in ResiDex that will be used for most of your "mass printing" needs.  From the Reports tab you can:

  • Search and find reports
  • Search suppressed (hidden) reports
  • Suppress/hide reports that you would not utilize
  • Use printing options: Select one, Print Some or Print All

Finding the Report You Need:

Searching: If you know the name of the report you need, you can type the name in the "Search" field.  If you are not sure of the name, you can type in a word that you think would be in the report name OR report description.  Note:  If you search for the word "Resident" you will have hundreds of reports available.  It is better to search something more specific like "Resident List" or "Resident Contacts". (1)

Category: Most reports are organized in a category.  This option is helpful to get a general idea of reports dealing with certain topics.  You will not have as many reports visible at one time, but it will display a condensed view of available reports. (2)

Select a Favorite Report: The Favorite Report Folder area is like a filing cabinet.  The file cabinet can be loaded with many "report folders". Each "folder" can hold one or more reports that you have decided as a facility to use frequently.  This will help organize the reports in a custom way that makes sense to you as a team.  To learn more about this, please review our documentation on Favorite Reports. Searching Suppressed Reports:

If you have the ResiDex staff role 13 - Supervisor, you will have a button beside the "Search" field on the Reports tab.  This button will allow you to search all reports. When clicked it will display all reports including suppressed/hidden reports.

If you view a report that was "suppressed" and decide you want to use that report, you can click on the yellow bar on the right side of the screen to "un-suppress" that report.
