RTasks: Residents Service Plans

The RTasks Resident option allows a user with ResiDex user role "2 - ResiDex Service Plans" to edit services for a resident.  With this role a user can:

  • View services
  • Add a new service
  • Discontinue a service
  • Modify a current service

Access the RTasks Residents Service Plans

  • Log into RTasks and select the Residents option (your option may be renamed Residents, Clients, or the preferred term used at your campus)

  1. Select which resident "list" you would like to view (Current residents, All residents, or Former residents)
  2. Select the Community you would like to view (optional)
  3. Search for a resident (optional)
  4. Click on a resident to view/edit information

Add Service Plan Information

  • Click on one of the resident pictures to open the Resident Profile

  • Select the Service Plan option

  1. Use the option to look at current or all services
  2. Search for a specific service, provider or time
  3. Sort by options Service (a), Scheduled time (b), Provider (c)
  4. Click to add and schedule an ongoing new service

Note: If a service is not "ongoing" you can add a one time service as an unscheduled service

Add a New Service:

  • Click the Add New Service (button 4 in the screen shot above)

  1. Select the service (available options are based on Desktop ResiDex Global Job (Service) List)
  2. Edit the start date if you wish the service to start in the future
  3. Add an end date if the service is scheduled to discontinue
  4. Select standard or simplified times
  5. Enter the time the service needs to take place
  6. Select the provider
  7. Edit the number of minutes the service should take
  8. Select the day(s) the service is to be performed
  9. Edit/Add details to instruct caregiver on what to do while performing the service
  10. If a resident is on a care package for billing - toggle the "include in package" option as needed
  11. Press Save to save the new service or Back to return to the Resident Profile without saving the service

Note: In the "Service will be provided" option if you select Weekly (Specific Days) you will have the option to select which days

Edit Service Plan Information:

  • Open the Resident Service Plan screen
  • Click on one of the services

  1. Click Edit to update the minutes or task details of the service
  2. Select Reschedule to end the current schedule and restart on a different day, time and/or provider
  3. Select End Service to end the service on a specific date/time
