RTasks Troubleshooting

When using RTasks charting, internet access and connectivity are important.  We offer some suggestions for troubleshooting issues related to internet connectivity.

Prevent Issues During Charting:

  • Always use supported, up to date web browsers (more information to follow)
  • Understand wifi availability specific to your facility  (see your administrator)
  • Know how to connect to the internet (see your administrator)

Basic Troubleshooting:

If you feel you are experiencing issues with RTasks (online) that might relate to internet connectivity (difficulty scrolling, delays when typing, lapses in screen responsiveness), the first test would be checking your internet connection.  We have created a tool to help watch for internet "hiccups";  simply go to website term7.residexsoftware.com.  Click "Start test". At this point, you may minimize this screen and continue working.   After about 10 minutes, view the tool, click "Stop test" to see if your internet connection was lost or interrupted.
