RTasks Troubleshooting

When using RTasks charting, we recommend you begin with a strong start to avoid any preventable issues.  We will pass along some basics tips and outline some troubleshooting steps should you need some assistance.

Prevent Issues During Charting:

  • Always use supported, up to date web browsers (more information to follow)
  • Understand where you have a strong internet connection in the building (see your administrator)
  • Know how to connect to the internet (see your administrator)

Basic Troubleshooting:

If you feel you are experiencing issues with RTasks (online), the first test would be checking your internet connection.  We have created a tool to help watch for internet "hiccups". You may use the ResiDex provided tool located on the website term7.residexsoftware.com.  Start the test and you can minimize it.  After about 10 minutes, view the tool to see if you have any lines reporting your connection was lost or interrupted. Internet issues can manifest itself in the form of delays when typing in a field, scrolling that is interrupted or delayed, screens that freeze or are slow to respond.
