Resetting Staff Passwords

For security reasons, the ResiDex Support team cannot reset your password in most circumstances. Staff who need their passwords reset will be directed to contact their supervisor / on call nurse.

If someone uses their email address to sign into RTasks, they can reset their own password with the 'forgot my password' link from the login page.

Supervisors can reset a user's password for them relatively easily following the steps below.

Delete Saved Passwords is a website application, which means it is accessed through a Web Browser.  The web browser you use (Google, Firefox, etc...)  may offer to "Save your password?" as the user is logging in.  If you press "Yes", any user can log into RTasks under your credentials. It is very important that you do not  save your RTasks password on a device that other people are using.
