  • Allergies

If the campus configuration option: Create appointment reminder when referral is saved is set to "Yes" you will be prompted to add an appointment reminder service when the referral is saved.

Flow Sheets

Flow Sheets are a useful tool to paper-chart needed information such as hourly outputs, housekeeping tasks, or other details. ResiDex makes generating custom flow sheets simple!

MD Orders: Notifications

The ResiDex "MD Order Form"was created to meet the requirement for a physician to certify or re-certify that services for a resident are needed. The physician will authorize the services for a timeframe (typically a year) by signing the MD Order form.  We have created some notifications to assist with maintaining compliance that the certifications are sent on time and the signatures have been received.

RTasks - Managing Sliding Scale Insulin

Effective diabetic management includes monitoring blood glucose values and administering needed medications.  Residents on a sliding scale insulin regimen require tight coordination of meds and services, and good documentation of both.  RTasks offers solutions for meeting these requirements.

Setup Attachment/Link Types

Attachments or Links are typically PDF documents that are signed, scanned, and are intended to be linked to a resident, prospect or staff member's record.  Examples include:

  • Applications
  • Signed Service Plans
  • Signed Referrals
  • Prescription forms
  • Signed MD Orders
  • Lease agreements

Before you start using Attachments / Links in RTasks, some initial setup is required.  This setup allows users to determine from which screen they can access that attachment type, as well as what access caregivers have to these attachments.  To perform the setup, a user needs access to Desktop ResiDex and User Role 13 - Supervisor.

Values out of Min / Max Range

Vital signs and blood glucose values may have an acceptable range within which values should fall.  Those that fall below the minimum and/or above the maximum value require staff to take action. ResiDex allows a user with role 18 - Global Job Service list to set the default min/max value that will default in when the service is added for any resident. Once the service is added for the resident, users may customize the min/max value for each resident.

Because min/max values for weight have such a wide range, only the resident-specific values can be entered.
