Case Manager

The "Case Manager" field allows you to specify a nurse or other individual as a resident's case manager.

Some states require tracking Case Manager Nurses for residents; this can be done by using the "Case Manager Nurse" field on the Residnet Profile Screen.

Code Status

A person's Code Status is a code specified in advance which describes that person's health care preferences in the event that their heart stops or their lungs fail. Examples of Code Statuses include CPR (meaning, CPR may be performed if possible,) DNR (Do Not Resuscitate), DNI (Do Not Intubate.)

A resident's Code Status must be recorded in the Code Status field on the Resident Profile. The Code Status is required and cannot be left blank; it will will automatically default to CPR.

Disable Profile Photos

If you wish to not load Resident photos on the resident profile screen, this setup is easy.

Discharge Tracking

ResiDex has the ability to let users track where residents are discharged to when they have been marked 'discharged.'

Resident Links/Attachments in Desktop Residex

Resident attachments allow facilities to keep a digital copy of forms directly linked to Residents entered into Desktop ResiDex. The links can be grouped into various types to meet your organizational needs.

Resident Pictures (Photos)

ResiDex allows a user to attach pictures to each of their residents' profiles.  The picture will not only appear on the Resident Profile screen, but will also show up on many paper forms and in RTasks.  Having visibility to the resident picture will verify the correct individual is being served and assist with orienting new staff.

Before using Resident pictures, a setup process needs to be completed.  If your Photo button on the Resident Profile Screen is not activated/working  please contact us for assistance.
